Obituary for Wayne Alan Combs

Garden City- Wayne Alan Combs, 54, died on Thursday November 16, 2023 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on August 30, 1969 at Garden City the son of Larry Dale & Arlene (Rupp) Combs. He married Kelly Langdon on February 14, 2004 at Garden City.

Wayne grew up in Holcomb and graduated from Holcomb High School in 1988. He worked as a truck driver and oil field pumper before becoming a Co-Owner of Rowley Pumping Service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Garden City. He enjoyed doing mechanic work, shooting guns, being involved with his kids and grandkids and of course talking.

He is survived by his 4 children- Miles Combs and Jackson Combs both of Garden City, Lucas Goss of Garden City and Kourtney Goss of Independence, Missouri, Mother, Arlene Rupp Rowley of Garden City, Step-Mother, Beverly Combs of Deerfield, 3 Brothers- T.J. & Therese Adams of Bentonville, Arkansas and Larry Dean Combs of Deerfield, Richard Rowley of Germany, 4 Sisters- Billie Rieth & fiancé Mark Goldy of Garden City, Terra & Matt Woodrow of Littleton, Colorado, Julie & Curt Nemechek of Garden City and Daena Rowley of Belton Texas and three Grandchildren- Lilah Goss, Taysom Goss, Harlon Burnett as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his Father- Larry Combs, Step-Father- Robert Rowley, Nephew- Tyson Adams, his Grandparents and other extended family.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Hageman officiating. Burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday with family present from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Memorials are suggested to Combs Education Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
