Obituary for Vivian L. Mohler (Springer)
Vivian Louise (Springer) Mohler, 77, died September 3, 2020 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on June 30, 1943 the daughter of Jim and Louise (Spanier) Springer in Garden City, Kansas.
Vivian attended and graduated from the Garden City Schools. She spent her whole life as a Garden City resident and was a long time employee of Superior Lamp. Vivian was a true fashionista, always looking her best for whatever occasion, big or small. She loved to decorate for the different seasons and holidays and found joy in gifting things to others. Vivian is remembered for her strong will and independent nature. She enjoyed travel, her family, and monthly gatherings with her ladies group.
She is survived by her Children- Simon Fansler and ViLari Cox, 2 Granddaughters- Shaylee Cox and Vaelynn Cox. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am Tuesday September 8, 2020 at the Presbyterian Church with Pastor Teri Sutherlin officiating. Visitation will be held from noon to 8:00pm Monday September 7, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Vivian Mohler Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N.7th Street, Garden City, Kansas 67846.
