Obituary for Shane Allan Jones
Shane Allan Jones, 50, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born July 20, 1971, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas to Terry and Janice Jones.
Shane was born and raised in Garden City, graduating from Garden City High School in 1989. Once done with high school Shane attended Northwest Technical School in Goodland, Kansas where he made many good memories. Shane was an all around great person, he’d do anything for anybody. He loved his music, his movies, and his Star Wars. He loved spending time with his son, who was his pride and joy. Most of all he loved being with his grand daughters.
Survivors include his son Ian Maxwell Jones & fiancé Aimee Holguin of Garden City, KS, his daughter Lindsay Wright and wife Helen Wright of Oklahoma City, OK, his parents Terry and Dee Jones of Garden City, KS and Janice Jones of Colorado Springs, CO, sister Tisha Deutsch of Peyton, CO , his grand daughters Yaretzi and Mila Jones of Garden City, KS and Grandma Dorothy Knoll of Borger, Tx. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather Albert Knoll, and his grandparents Warren Max and Lamoine Jones.
Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 am Friday June 24, 2022 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Randy Caddell. There will be no calling hours. Family suggest memorial be given to Shane Jones Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
