Paula Gaile Cook, 83, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born October 27, 1939, in Moberly, Missouri the daughter to Russell Gibson & Pauline Bates.

Paula was born and raised in Moberly. After her marriage to James Spicer, she moved to the Quad Cities where she began working for the Post Office. After her retirement she became a professional clown and would volunteer at hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of Garden Valley Church. She enjoyed reading her bible, children and being with her family. Paula was a very kind and caring person. She always put others first.

Survivors include her children- Rebecca Brown, James Gregory Spicer, Richard Grant Spicer; Siblings- Darlene Dutton, Ginger Patrick, Carolyn Morgan & Larry Gibson; 6 Grandchildren & 3 Great-Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Parents- Russell & Pauline Gibson & Lula Mae Gibson, Daughter- Melody Ann Spicer, Siblings- Wayne Gibson, Howard Gibson & Kay Rumsey.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Garden Valley Church in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Steve Ensz officiating. There will be no visitation.
