Syracuse- Mikeal Lee Floyd, 52, died on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born on January 23, 1970 at Tribune the son of Gary Lee & Sheri Lynn (Cartwright) Floyd. He married Mandy Sue Blue on May 24, 2003 at Syracuse.

Mikeal graduated from Syracuse High School with the Class of 1988 and earned his Auto Mechanics Degree from Dodge City Community College. He worked at several different jobs in his career including mechanic work, construction, carpentry, maintenance at Hamilton County Hospital and mechanic and grounds crew at Tamarisk Golf Course. He enjoyed photography, archery, bowling, fishing and traveling. He built furniture for his family and was known for taking in cats and giving them a home.

He is survived by his Wife- Mandy Floyd, Daughter- Haley Bennett of Kansas City, Missouri, Son- Corbin Bennett serving in the United States Air Force and Parents- Gary & Sheri Floyd of Ozawkie. He was preceded in death by his Sister- Kellee Musil and Niece- Kayla Musil.

Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM MST Tuesday at Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM CST Monday and 9:00 AM to Noon CST at Garnand Funeral Home in Lakin.
