Maria de Jesus Ortega Vuida de Lopez died April 3, 2021 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born October 17, 1925 in Jaralillo, Zacateca, Mexico.
Maria was born and raised in Mexico, moving to the US in 1997 to live with her daughter, Irene Lopez. She was an attentive housewife and beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to crochet intricate patterns and give them to loved ones. She is preceded in death by her husband Francisco Lopez Chairez. Survivors include her Children- Irene Lopez, Irma Lope, Rosalina Saucedo, Amelia Lopez, Glafiro Lopez, Javier Lopez, Francisco Lopez, Antonio Lopez & Jacobo Lopez; 25 grandchildren; 50 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place 12:00-4:00 pm Friday April 16, 2021 at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City. Burial will take place at a later date. The family suggest Memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church in Care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N 7th Street, Garden City, KS 67846. 620-276-3219
