Librado Cano Heredia, 101, died Friday December 30, 2022 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born April 25, 1921 in Chihuahua, Mexico the son of Alberto Cano & Maria Esther Heredia.

Mr Cano Heredia grew up and attended schools in Mexico. He married Maria de Jesus Palma in 1955 in San Francisco del Oro, Mexico. While living in Mexico he was a farmer/stockman for many years before retiring and joining his children in the United States. He enjoyed visiting with family and watching his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren grow.

He is survived by his Wife- Maria de Jesus Palma de Cano; Children-Rosa (Salvador) Cano, Juan (Maria) Cano, Roberto (Christina) Cano, Olga (Yovanni) Cano, Ever Cano, Guillermina Cano, Alberto (Maria de Lourdes), Blanca Esther (Angel) Cano, Daniel (Guadalupe) Cano and Cesar (Vicky) Cano; 22 Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren and Siblings-Esther Cano, Josefina Cano and Aurora Cano.

In addition to his Parents-Alberto & Maria Esther he was preceded in death by his siblings- Luis Cano, Cresencia Cano, Samuel Cano, Gregoria Cano, Amelia Cano, Amada Cano, Socorro Cano, and Elva Cano and Granddaughter-Maylen Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held 12:00- 5:00 pm Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Garnand Funeral Home of with Rosary to follow at 7:30 pm at St Mary Catholic Church. A Funeral Service will be held 11:30 am Wednesday January 4, 2023 at St Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
