Obituary for Leon Shook

Jesse Leon Shook, 68, died Tuesday March 8, 2022 at his home in Holcomb, Kansas. He was born August 25, 1953 at Perryton, Texas the son of Jesse and Dolly (Rose) Shook. Leon attended the local schools and spend his childhood in Beaver, Oklahoma. On June 14, 1980 he married Linda Ann Lynch in Wichita, Kansas.

Whether Leon was a student at Faith Apostolic Faith or Rhema Bible Colleges, a “Culligan Man;” Children's/Youth Education Pastor/Director, Special Education Para, Home Depot Electrical Dept Supervisor, Mosaic Direct Support Supervisor, Walmart Asset Protection Associate, or Bad Boyz Boxing Coach; he always Loved being around people and never forgot a face. In his spare time, he enjoyed making  model rockets and spending time with his family.  His favorite saying on his Facebook Unity Bridge site was, “Remember, you are God's Gift to the World!”

He is survived by his Wife- Linda of the home, Children- Courtney Hambley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jessica Shook, and Jonathan Shook both of Holcomb, Kansas, Son-in-Law- Ryan Hladik of Granbury, Texas, Grandchildren- Carmen Shook, Katherine Hladik, Elizabeth Hladik, and Jesse Hladik, Sisters- Sandra (Glen) Gordon of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Bonnie Renfrow of Carrolltown, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter- Ashley Hladik, and Sister- Linda Agosto.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday March 18, 2022 at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Raul Silva officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cornerstone Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be made by visiting www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
