Obituary for LaDonna Heine
Garden City- LaDonna J. Heine, 75, died on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City. She was born on May 18, 1946 at Garden City the daughter of Gotfred & Fern (Kortz) Becker.
LaDonna graduated from Pierceville High School. She married Guy Heine and they later divorced. She worked at Wall’s IGA, Bonanza Steak House before beginning a 17 year career in the Housekeeping Department at St. Catherine Hospital. She attended Pierceville Federated Church and enjoyed Singing and collecting things.
She is survived by her Son- Robert Leo Becker of Garden City, Cousins- Judith Kortz Brown of Fairfax, Virginia, Mick (Valrie) Kortz of San Jose, California, Lynn (Glenda) Kortz of California, RayDean (Kay) Thomas of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Robert Thomas of California, Roberta Lea Ard of Paola, Kansas and numerous other extended family member and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother- Robert Leon Becker, and Grandparents.
Visitation will be held Monday March 28, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Tuesday March 29, 2022 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Garnand Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the LaDonna Heine Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home or donations can also be made via gofundme.
