Kathy J. Martin, 60, died Tuesday October 25, 2022 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born November 10, 1961 in Spencer, Tennessee.

In 1982 Kathy moved from Tennessee to Garden City with her family and this is where she made her home and raised her children. Kathy was a strong and resilient woman, she was loving and accepting but also stood firm in her beliefs and would speak her mind when necessary. She enjoyed music, cooking, crossword puzzles, and was definitely a dog lover. Most of all she enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing her love for Jesus with those around her.

Survivors include her Children- Elson Martinez, David Martinez, Ezequiel (Erika) Martinez, Cassandra Martin (Jose Urrutia), Nicole Cruz, Grandchildren- Jada, Travis, Justice, Troy, Zaiden, Nyla, Ariel, Emily, Viktor, Eliseo, and Zandra, Companion- Alfred Cruz, Father of her Children- Erasto Martinez, as well as numerous other loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday November 2, 2022 at the Church of God of The First Born. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Family will be present for visitation from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Tuesday November 1, 2022 at the Church of God of the First Born.
