Obituary for Jesus Hector Flores

Jesus “Tito” “Chito” Hector Flores, 36, died February 13, 2022 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born September 29, 1985 the son of Victoria Ann Villegas and Jesus Hector Flores.

Jesus was raised by his mother Victoria in Dodge City, Kansas. He was blessed to be born into a big family. His siblings recall he was an active child, always playing outdoors with his siblings, cousins, and friends. At the age of 18 he moved to Maui, Hawaii with his older brother Nick. His mother and brother Valentin followed shortly after. He was introduced to new cultures and was embraced by the community he lived in. He thrived working at Hasegawa General Store and later at Ace Hardware. He earned his GED in Hutchinson and later a Welding Certificate at Garden City Community College. He was blessed to have 6 children and married his true love Yolanda Aldana in 2008. He enjoyed homecooked meals (no onions) with his family, listening to music, cheering on the Raiders, spoiling his wife and kids, and sporting clean shoes. He was baptized in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He would help anyone who was in need, and always put others first. He had a gregarious personality and at times he was mischievous. Anyone who knew him knew of his charm and of his smile that could light up the dark. His loyalty was of utmost importance and as he had children, this virtue held true.
