Obituary for Irma Yolanda Anguiano
Irma Yolanda Anguiano, died Sunday January 10, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born August 17, 1955 in Lakin Kansas the daughter of Manuel and Maria (Vargas) Rodriguez.
Irma was born, raised and graduated from Lakin schools. She had worked as a caregiver as a CNA for many years. Her siblings remember her as a free spirit and collector of recipes, her children as a hard working mother who made them stronger parents, and her grandchildren as the grandma who was fun to shop and watch movies with. Her other hobbies included listening to music and collecting knick knacks. She had beautiful penmanship and enjoyed writing letters and notes to friends and family & journaling in her spare time.
She is survived by her children-Erika Rodriguez, Anthony Anguiano and Epi Tzul; grandchildren-Taylor (Janae), Sierra, Merik & Isabel siblings-Larry Vargas, Manuel (Jan) Rodriguez, Mary (Bill) Wilken, Homer (Cruz) Rodriguez & Gabriel (Char) Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on 10:00 AM Monday January 18, 2021 at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City with Father Jacob Schneider as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 am to 8:00 pm Friday January 15, 2021 also at Garnand Funeral Home.
