Obituary for Grace N. Reimer
Grace N. Reimer, 84, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born April 6, 1936 in La Junta, Colorado the daughter of Levert Milton & Zora Esther (Giles) McCreery.
Grace worked for many years at American Warrior in Garden City. She enjoyed playing bridge and sewing.
On October 7, 1987, she married Edward J. “Eddie” Reimer in Raton, New Mexico. He died on May 7, 2006. Grace is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Linda Glenn; twelve sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include two stepsons Jim Reimer of Kalvesta, Kansas and Greg Reimer of Dodge City, Kansas; a brother David McCreery of Billings, Missouri; two sisters Betty Stewart of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Edith Johnson of Ava, Missouri; one grandson; several Step-grandchildren; and several step-great grandchildren.
A private family interment will take place at a later date at the Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron, Kansas. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to Garden Valley Retirement Village in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
