Obituary for Glenda Jean Crone
Glenda (Zubeck) Crone, 75, died Friday March 18, 2022 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas.
Glenda was a loving wife and best friend to Russell for 33 years, most gracious mother, phenomenal grandmother, and wonderful friend. She had an innate ability to understand when people needed a loving hand or gesture and would be the first person to step forward with her generosity. Her family, friends, and her faith brought her the most happiness.
Glenda worked for the Garden City FAA for the past 20 years. In her down time, she enjoyed listening to and playing music, and to fill her outdoor gardens with lots of flowers and decor.
She was best known for being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Glenda was baptized in 1978 and loved telling others about the promises God made in the Bible of a wonderful future.
Glenda was preceded in death by her Parents- Jimmie and Dena Zubeck, and Granddaughter- Haley Mejia.
She is survived by her Husband- Russell Crone, Son- John (Mona) Schwartz, Daughter- Janelle Mejia, Grandchildren- JoeSandra Asebedo, Syrus Schwartz, Sydemus Schwartz, Jalen Mejia, and Jasmine Mejia, Sister- Ginger (Ray) Sonderegger, and Brother- Jim Zubeck.
Services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday March 26, 2022 via ZOOM. Zoom ID and Password are listed below this obituary. A private family interment will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the World Wide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
