Gary Lee Farr, 66, died Thursday January 21, 2021 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born July 29, 1954 in Pratt, Kansas the son of Joseph D. and Elva L. (Mills) Farr.

At a young age Gary moved to the Garden City area with his family where he attended and graduated from Holcomb

school. Gary was a fun-loving and athletic child. He played football and baseball on various teams growing up. There was a short time that Gary lived in Amarillo, Texas; Topeka and Lansing Kansas, but returned to Garden City where he made his living as a carpenter. Gary is remembered for his unique personality; described as someone with a big heart who was eager to help others even when he couldn’t. He lived life on the edge at times and caused a little trouble but always meant well.

Survivors include his Parents, Children-Jeremy Farr of Garden City, Kansas, Augustine Prieto of Fort Hood Texas, Brother- Jerry D. & Cindy Farr of Florence Colorado, Sister - Diana L. Farr of Garden City, Kansas, 5 Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one Brother- Larry Allen Farr.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday January 28, 2021, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. The service will also be available for viewing via Facebook Live from the Garnand Funeral Homes Facebook Page. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Gary L.
