Obituary for Garret James Doll

Garret James Doll, 21, died Tuesday August 18, 2020. He was a son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend who was loved by so many. He was born on May 20, 1999 in Garden City, KS.

Garret graduated from Garden City High School and then attended Kansas State University. He was passionate about sports, his family, and the Lord. He loved hanging out with his brother and cousins on the farm. He was incredibly competitive and would never pass up an opportunity to challenge someone to a basketball game or track race. Some of his favorite memories took place playing sports. If he wasn’t on the basketball court or the football field, you could find him hanging out at the lake or cheering on the K-State Wildcats or the Kansas City Chiefs. Garret was talented in everything from playing the piano to throwing a football, but always remained humble and kind. He was a faithful follower of Jesus and knew the Bible well even at a young age. We will miss so many things about Garret, especially his big heart and contagious smile.

He is survived by his Parents- Mark and Jennifer Doll; Siblings- Kayla and Colton Donahue, Katy Doll, and Devin Doll; Grandparents- Catherine Doll, Kenny and Cindy Becker, and Don and Jane Johnson; and Great-Grandparents Ethel Johnson and Dean Jeffries.
