Eusebio “Chevo” Aguilar, 66, died Friday March 5, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born March 5, 1955 in Veracruz Mexico the son of Emilio Aguilar and Agustina Ortiz.
Mr. Aguilar was raised and attended school in Veracruz. He married Bety Huerta in 1981. Shortly following their marriage, they moved to the United States and started a family. He always provided not only financially for his family, but more importantly, emotionally. He was employed at PSSI as a supervisor for over 30 years. He was a deeply involved member of his church, Iglesia Apostoles Y Profetas and enjoyed his IHOP breakfasts. His family will cherish his memories. He was a jokester, always laughing, reaching out through his sense of humor. Through his positive attitude, he taught them to make the most of every situation.
He is survived by Bety and his Children-Conchis (Manuel) Marin, Alfredo (Yolanda) Aguilar and Carolina Aguilar; Grandchildren- Francisco Guerrero, Aaliyah Mendez, Adaheir Aguilar, Manuel Marin, Jr., Aubrie Marin, Ayleen Aguilar, Braden Aguilar & Brandon Aguilar and Siblings- Angelina Aguilar, Mario Aguilar, Margaro Aguilar, Joaquin Aguilar, Juan Aguilar & Lorenzo Aguilar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Sister-Agustina Aguilar.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City with Pastor Mario Molina officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 12:00-8:00 pm Monday March 8, 2021 at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N 7th Street, Garden City, KS.620-276-3219. The family suggests memorials to the Eusebio Aguilar Memorial Fund in Care of Garnand Funeral Home.
