Garden City- Eraclio “Laco” Hernandez, Jr., 33, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was Born July 5, 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas the son of Eraclio Hernandez Sr. and Margarita Rodarte Hernandez.

Laco graduated from Garden City High School in 2006. After graduating he attended Garden City Community College. He worked many jobs after college his most recent job was working at Tyson in the shipping department. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Boston Celtics. His favorite past time was working on his cars. Friends and family were important to him and he could often be found playing play station with his younger brother, Alex.

He is survived by his Mother- Margarita Rodarte Hernandez of Garden City, Kansas; his Father- Eraclio Hernandez Sr.; 4 siblings- Eric Hernandez of Garden City, Kansas; Daisy Hernandez of Garden City, Kansas; Gloria & Jerrico Peoples of Garden City, Kansas and Alex Sanjuan of Garden City, Kansas; His Beloved dog Flex; Grandmother- Amalea Rodarte Hernandez, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his grandfather Jose Rodarte.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas with Father Jacob Schneider officiating. Visitation will begin Monday May 31, 2021 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery also in Garden City, Kansas.
