Our Lord saw it was time for Elva (Rusty) Lena Farr to be taken from her home on 04-30-2021.
Elva was preceded by William & Myrtle Mills parents, Larry Allen Farr, Son and Gary Lee Farr, Son. Calvin Mills brother, Raymond Mills brother, Vera Blansett Sister,

Survivors include; JD Farr, Husband of Garden City Kansas. Son, Jerry and Cindy Farr of Florence Colorado. Daughter Diana Farr (Darif) and Youssef Darif of Garden City Kansas. Grandchildren ; Jenny & Jim Waddle of Colorado Springs Colorado, David & Kelly Farr of Kansas City Kansas, Jeremy Farr of Garden City Kansas, Augustine & Maria Prieto, of Dallas Texas, Scott & Lisa Farr of Denver Colorado, Laura Farr of Denver Colorado, Jacob Farr of Holcomb Kansas, Jacque & Jason Porter of Garden City Kansas, and Jentrey Farr Gill of Garden City Kansas. 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grand Children. Sister Iva Woodard & Wes Woodard of Garden City Kansas. and Sister Ruby Barker of Garden City Kansas.

Elva (Rusty) was a dedicated wife, mother, grandma and prayer warrior. Elva (Rusty and JD) celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary 3 years ago. Elva (Rusty) enjoyed her daily devotions and morning prayer, she was truly a happy, beautiful soul. Caring and loving unconditionally everyone she met, her entire life. Elva (rusty) enjoyed playing Bridge and was in a bridge club from 1960’s to 2010. Bowling and raising 4 children kept her busy. Elva (Rusty) went on to obtain her realtor’s license and became a Real Estate Broker for many years. Elva (Rusty) attended theTurning Point Church of The Nazarene.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday May 5, 2021 at Turning Point Church of the Nazarene, 2720 Campus Dr Garden City, with Pastor Nathan Haeck officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Memorial contributions are suggested to Turning Point Church of the Nazarene in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 412 North 7th Street, Garden City, Kansas.
