Garden City- Derrin Lee Leeper 55, died on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born on February 27, 1965 at Garden City the son of Edward Lee & Letha (Yardley) Leeper. He married Janet Guy on February 26, 1999 at Garden City.

Derrin attended Garden City schools. He went to work for Tri-State Transmission which in 1984 became the family business- Leeper Transmission. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, arrowhead hunting, camping and drag races.

He is survived by his Wife- Janet Leeper, 2 Step-Children- Cody Burkard of Hutchinson and Jessica Tolle of Enid, Oklahoma, Mother- Letha Leeper of Garden City, Brother- Alvin Leeper of Garden City and Sister- Jeanette Woolever of Wichita. He was preceded in death by his Father, Brother- Edward Earl “Eddie” Leeper and Sister- Rita Leeper.
