Deborah Ann Yarnall, 71, of Garden City, Kansas peacefully passed away the morning of December 31, 2021.
She was born July 17, 1950, in Atchison, Kansas. Deborah, known by all as Debbie, graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in childhood education and library sciences. She was married to Darrell Yarnall for 50 years this year.
Debbie lived a life full of color – in her quilts, in her home, and in her classrooms. Her mission was to enrich the lives around her with laughter and a steadfast love for Jesus Christ. At heart, she was a teacher. She taught those around her to not take life too seriously – to believe in the magic of every day. Debbie’s favorite views were the Rocky Mountains of Estes Park, the ever-lively prairie out her sewing room widow, and Disney World’s Main Street, U.S.A.
She is survived by her loving husband and children: Darrell, Rachel, and Josh, respectively; her adoring sister, Patricia Leikam; Rachel’s family: Trevor (husband), Gavin, Jenny, Ashton, Kaylen, Payton (children); Josh’s family: Amy (wife), Mitchel, Brooklyn, Adrian, Grace, Drake (children); and her great-grandchildren: Ellie, Lyla, Evelyn, and Luke. Last, but certainly not lease, Debbie is survived by her dearest furry friend, Harley “Harley Barley” Yarnall.
