Obituary for Deanna L Guardiola
Deanna Guardiola,59, died July 28, 2022 in Hays, Kansas. She was born September 6, 1962 in Ulysses Kansas to Alberto and Martha (Garcia) Orosco.
Deanna lived all her life in Southwest Kansas. She and Ramon were married over 30 years. He survives. She worked for the hospital as a dietary aide and later owning a trucking company. She enjoyed camping in the mountains of Colorado and proved to be a bear whisperer during one encounter. She had an open door, open table and open heart. Spoiling her grandchildren brought her the most enjoyment.
In addition to Ramon, she is survived by her daughter- Laura Guardiola; grandchildren-David, AJ, Aubrie, Austin, Levi & Alyson; Siblings-Daniel and Carmen Orosco, Berta & Ruben Gonzalez, Tina Roulier & Bobby & Kim Rayas & numerous friends & extended family.
She was preceded in death by her two sons-Eric and Marcos; brother- Elijio Orosco and parents-Alberto and Martha Orosco.
Visitation will be held 1:00-8:00 pm Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Garnand Funeral Home, 508 N Main, Lakin, KS. A Rosary will be held Thursday August 4, 2022- 9:30 am with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:00 am both at St Anthony Catholic Church of Lakin with Rev Peter Tran as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lakin Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Deanna Guardiola Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 91, Lakin, KS. 67860. 620-276-3219
