Dana Tegarden-Bullock was born in Pratt on March 10, 1964 and passed away at age 59 on March 14, 2023. She was the daughter of Linda Yost and Kenneth Tegarden, stepdaughter to Mervin Yost, and sister to Lori Walter. Dana primarily lived in Copeland until she eventually moved to Garden City to pursue cosmetology. She created an amazing assortment of friends through schooling, work, and her relationship with God. Dana eventually married Robert Bullock on July 23, 1989 and built a house in 2000. They created a family of four boys, Alex, Austin, Tim, and Collin. Dana raised her kids through homeschooling and was a major factor in creating the family they are today.

Dana invested her time in the hobbies and kids she loved. She was heavily involved in the music she grew up with. Dana was easily able to state any name of a song, band, and what year a song was created from her childhood to early adulthood. Furthermore, she adored livestock animals and vegetable and flower gardens. Dana loved antique restoration, floral, crafts, and invested hours of hard work to provide for her family.

Dana was an incredibly strong person in her relationship to God and as a mother to her kids. She always put her family ahead of herself until her final days. She never wanted to be taken care of; she always wanted to take care of her family even while being sick. Dana demonstrated values and morals continually to her kids and ensured they were raised properly.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Cornerstone Church in Garden City, with Pastor Christie Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
