Obituary for Christopher Anthony Hernandez
Christopher Anthony Hernandez, 56 , died Tuesday November 10, 2020 at Truman Medical Center in Kanas City, Missouri. He was born October 23, 1964 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Robert B. & Connie (Sanchez) Hernandez.
Chris graduated from Garden City High School in 1983 and moved to Kansas City 1990’s. He was self-employed as a transport driver for different companies, most recently Roadrunner Transportations Systems. His hobbies included tinkering with his car, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, golfing, and snacking. He was always smiling and will be remembered for his kind-hearted playfulness. His "sistas" and "brothas" in crime will hold his memories close to their hearts until they meet again.
Survivors include his father-Robert Hernandez Sr., Siblings- Rita (Mario) Ramos, Richard (Jean) Hernandez, Robert Hernandez Jr., Linda (Deb) Finch, Jerry (Raidene) Hernandez, Sally Hernandez, & Rosann (Lynn) Hilliard; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends.
He was preceded in death by is mother-Connie Hernandez; various aunts uncles, most recently uncle-Fred Sanchez & nephew-Robert Jarrel Hernandez.
A Funeral Mass will be 12:00 pm Monday November 16, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Jacob Schneider as Celebrant and will be broadcast live via the Garnand Facebook Page. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday November 15, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home.
