Obituary for Christina M Ramirez-Howard
Christina Maria Ramirez-Howard, 40, died Thursday July 16 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born September 22, 1979 in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
Christina graduated from Rocky Ford High School and attended Otero Junior College where she obtained her CNA certification. She later moved to Garden City and became certified in Kansas as well. She married Johnny Howard on July 13, 2019, he survives. She was a caregiver for various individuals and was excellent at her chosen profession. She enjoyed working with all of her residents and considered them family. Her family will remember her goofy sense of humor and are forever grateful for the special attention she gave to her nieces and nephews. She was a devout member of the Community Wesleyan Church in Garden City.
In addition to her Husband, other survivors include, Mother-Guadalupe (Alonzo) Martinez of Garden City; Siblings-David (Samara) Martinez of Hays, Francisco Martinez of Garden City, Josefa (Ruben Garcia) Martinez of Garden City, Moses (Elvia Bravo) Martinez of Garden City & Jose Ramirez of Garden City; Step-daughter- Ciara & Josh Leach and their daughter Alayna; 8 Nieces and 6 Nephews; Mother-in-Law-Cindy (Tim) Reeves Beloved Animal Son-- “Buddy” and 2 birds. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents- Maria & Benjamin Ramirez and Dear Friend- Larry LeDoux.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday July 21, 2020 at the Community Wesleyan Church, 614 N 13th, Garden City, KS with Pastor Madelyn Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday July 20, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home.
