Obituary for Charlene Ann Krueger
Charlene Ann Krueger, 64, died Saturday, February 26, 2022, at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born May 10, 1957, in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania the daughter of Richard George & Lillian Ann (Dirling) Schiller.
Charlene lived with her family in various places throughout her life. She graduated from Garden Grove High School in California. She later moved to Garden City in the late 1980’s and has lived in Garden City since. Charlene worked in various jobs including Inland Container, Cox Communications, and most recently as a receiving clerk at Boot Hill Casino. Charlene was an animal lover and enjoyed collecting cat statues, camping, golfing, playing UNO, and spending time on Facebook.
On July 30, 2005, she married John Krueger in Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include a son Jeremy A. & wife Imelda Lucas of Dodge City, Kansas; 3 stepsons John Krueger of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Jeremy M. Krueger of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Justin T. Krueger of St. Louis, Missouri; 2 sisters Denise Schiller and Marie Ibarra both of California; and numerous grandchildren. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; a son John P. Lucas; and a brother Richard Schiller.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Fr. Jacob Schneider officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to service time on Saturday all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family suggests memorials given to the Finney County Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
