Garden City- Barbara Ann Coen, 70, died Wednesday December 30, 2020 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born January 19, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Walter H. and Elizabeth L. (Keller) Werland. On July 31, 1971 she married Robert Coen, Sr. In San Antonio, Texas.

In 1974 Robert's job brought the family to Garden City where she has lived since. Barbara was a loving and caring woman who always put others first. She enjoyed crossword and sudoku puzzles and always seemed to have a weather report not only for Garden City but any other family members location. She was a wonderful conversationalist and wasn’t afraid to share her opinion…..”and all that so"

Survivors include her Children- Dori Larsen of Grand Junction, Colorado, Elizabeth & Dan Couch of Salina, Kansas, Evelyn & Steve Atkinson of Garden City, Kansas, Henry & Crystal Coen of Topeka, Kansas, Bridgette Coen & Wullian Mesquita of Garden City, Kansas, Timothy & Shanna Coen of Garden City, Kansas, Sister- Mary Pearson of Grand Junction, Colorado, Brothers- James Werland and Walter & Clara Werland both of San Antonio, Texas, 26 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her Parents, Grand Parents, and Son Robert, Jr.
