Agatha was born and raised in Mexico where she married her husband, Peter, and began to raise a family. She enjoyed raising her children as well as sewing for her family and others. She and her family then moved to Elkhart, Kansas, March 15, 1984. She became a vital part of the community helping with various jobs as well as continuing her hobby of sewing. She loved being active in her community and believed in helping those around her. Agatha was devoted to reading the Bible and teaching her children to read the Word as well. Reading Die Mennonititiche Post was a favorite past time of hers. Her passions included teaching her children to follow Christ, and cooking and preparing meals for her children and grandchildren. Her husband passed on April 25, 2007, and forever changed her life. As her health started to decline and needing the extra attention, she moved into a care center where she was well attended to and cared for by many great nurses and staff. She spent her time listening to sermons, reading her Bible, playing Bingo, and making memories with her family.
