Born in Garden City, Kansas, Jeffery has been a lifetime Garden City resident. he attended Garden City Schools and graduated from Garden City High School in 1985. He worked as a stockman and clerk at Alco for 13 years. He also delivered pizza for Pizza Hut and Pappa John's and he helped his sister in delivering the Garden City Telegram. Jeffery enjoyed fishing, watching monster trucks, and collecting Budweiser memorabilia and Kansas City memorabilia.
