Edra “Eddie” Shirley Coen Rich Garcia, age 61, of Elkhart, Kansas, died Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas. She was born November 26, 1955, in Elkhart, Kansas, the daughter of Richard Shirley and Pauline Elsie (Turner) Coen.

Eddie attended schools in Southwest Kansas. After graduating from high school, she attended business college. Eddie resided in Kansas and Oklahoma, and was a member of the Community of Christ Church.

Survivors include sons, Steven Coen and wife Hope of Goodwell, Oklahoma, Robert Rich and Ronald Rich both of Elkhart, Kansas; brothers, Daren Coen of Littleton, Colorado, and Eric Coen and wife Eva of Centralia, Missouri; sister, Karen Hutton of Liberal, Kansas; and eight grandchildren, Brianna Rich, Brendan Rich, Kyson Rich, Austin Rich, Tristan Rich, Jayden Coen, Aleigha Coen, and Tyler Coen.

Eddie is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Pauline Coen.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, Kansas. Arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 514 Kansas Ave., Elkhart, Kansas.
