Marriages: to Norman L. Swank on August 7, 1963 at Lakin
Later to Glen Rinehart on January 16, 2004 at Kendall
He died on January 14, 2006

Jo grew up north of Garden City and graduated from Holcomb High School and attended Garden City Community College. After her first marriage she moved to the farm in Western Kearny County and moved into Lakin in 1998. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Kendall, Kearny County Extension Board, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 3124 where she was the local and state Max Baer Heart Fund Queen. She was very involved in 4-H, as a youth she was a member of the Happy Hustlers 4-H Club and was a leader of the Chantilly 4-H Club and served as a Sewing Leader and other areas. As an adult she became involved with bowling organizations and served as a Board Director of the KWBA, Manager of Kearny County USBC and bowling leagues President and Secretary. She was well known as a Cake Decorator and made many wedding, Birthday & special occasion cakes for area people. She also enjoyed snowmobiles, 4-Wheeling, coyote hunting, sewing and being at every activity of her Grandchildren’s. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband.
