Ella “Jean” Lawrence, 92 died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City
Born: August 1, 1923 at Little Rock, Arkansas
Parents: William Henry & Mattie Eva (Jones) Fogle
Marriage: to Arthur Roy Lawrence, Sr. on April 3, 1943 at Little Rock, Arkansas
He died on October 19, 1976

Memberships: Christian Church of Little Rock, Arkansas
Past member of Order Of Eastern Star in Dighton

Ella graduated from High School in 1942 at Little Rock. She met her husband while he was stationed at Tyler, Texas during World War II. After his discharge in 1945 they bought a farm at Flagler, Colorado. In Flagler she was involved in Women’s Extension clubs and 4-H. In 1963 they moved to Dighton and she worked as the Clerk Of The District Court for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening, canning & sewing. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, 5 Brothers- James Fogle, Arthur Fogle, John David Fogle, Charles Fogle & William Fogle, 1 Sister- Louise Page & 3 Great-Grandchildren.
