Marriage: to Cynthia L. Tate on April 17, 2007 at Hanna, Oklahoma

Stephen grew up in Springfield and attended Central High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a Rough Neck and a driller in the oil fields of Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas for 37 years. In 2011 he moved to Dighton and was a feed truck driver for Ranger Feeders II. Stephen enjoyed riding his Harley, taking care of his puppies, deer hunting and helping his wife with the flower garden.
