Obituary for Jesse Carabajal
Jesse Carabajal, age 46, of Garden City, KS died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, KS. He was born September 12, 1969 at Fremont, OH, the son of Jesus Carabajal, Sr. and Antonia (Garza) Carabajal.
Jesse moved to Ulysses with his family in 1980. Jesse worked as an electrician for Davis Electric in Cimarron, KS. He collected baseball cards and enjoyed watching all sports.
Survivors include his parents; Jesus and Antonia Carabajal of Ulysses, KS, Fiancé; Teresa Weber of Garden City, KS, three sons; Zavian Roger Carabajal of Garden City, KS, Darian Kaid Carabajal of Grand Prairie, TX and Brock Kyle Weber of Ulysses, KS, two daughters; Jessalyn Lyla Carabajal of Grand Prairie, TX and Haley Jan Weber of Ulysses, KS, four sisters; Norma Rickard of Sandusky, OH, Irma Palacios of Garden City, KS, Janey Gonzales of Ulysses, KS and Ilda Lister, Manhattan, KS, three grandchildren; Jase Auston Ripper, Paisley Elane Weber and Brayden Eli Carabajal.
Jesse is preceded in death by his brother; Roger Carabajal.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel, Ulysses, KS with Carlos Garza presiding. Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery, Ulysses, KS. Friends may call on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses, Kansas. Family requests memorials be given to the Jesse Carabajal Memorial fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant, Ulysses, KS 67880.
