Gene was so much fun! As cousins, we visited nearly every summer growing up & I have many memories of things we did. He made me drive a pick-up truck, when I was 14, back from the field that he had been plowing, while he drove the tractor. It was a floor shift which this city girl knew nothing about, so I drove the whole way in first gear! I came upon him milking a cow & he squirted me from about 15 feet away! We rode his horse Cupid together & he loved trying to scare me by making her gallop so fast! My sympathies to Lynn & all the family. I loved Gene & I know we will all miss him so much.

I am saddened by Gene's passing. He was a good man and cousin and will be missed by all who were touched by him. He now joins the Pigout Family that has gone before him. What a reunion they are having!

We are saddened by the loss of our handsome cousin, Gene. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lynn, Shawn, Eric, Amy and the grands, Robin & David and their kids and grandkids. One of my favorite memories of Gene is of him at our family reunion auctions. He had so much fun bidding on all of the pig items! I'm sure that half of the money raised at those auctions came from Gene! RIP, Gene! We will miss you!
